1. At least TWO members of the Kayak club (or one member and a second person with their own boat) are required to take boats out together. These members will personally sign in with Campus Safety and request Campus Safety to open the beach house where the kayaks are stored. Members may take the boats out for up to 2 hrs. at a time as long as they report the time they are due back to Campus Safety. All boats and kayakers must be back before sundown.

2. Every member of the Kayak Club using the kayaks must have on their person a working cell phone (placed in a sealed plastic or waterproof bag).

3. Each Kayak Club member must provide the following information (on an index card) to Campus Safety, the Kayak Club Advisor, and the Post Center. This information is for record keeping purposes and in the event of an emergency:
A). Student(s) Name
B). Student(s) Current Address (Dorm and/or off campus residence)
C). Student(s) Current Home Phone Number (Dorm and/or off campus residence)
D). Student(s) Emergency Contact Number
E). Student(s) or other* Cell Phone Number. This must be the number to the cell phone on their person.

4. A current Endicott College Student ID (Gull Card) must be presented to Campus Safety. Campus Safety retains the ID until EACH member personally returns to retrieve the ID.

5. CAMPUS SAFETY must record the DAY, DATE, and TIME the kayak members sign out the kayaks (i.e., the time the member requests access to the beach house), as well as note the time they are due back.

6. At the conclusion of the activity, each member will rinse off the kayaks with the hose, return the kayaks to the storage location and EACH MEMBER will personally sign out with Campus Safety, collect their respective ID's, and request the beach house to be secured.

7. BATHING SUITS and/ or WET SUITS are strongly recommended for optimal comfort. CELL PHONES are required. As always, LIFEJACKETS are mandatory.

8. In an emergency: call Campus Safety's Emergency Hotline at 978-232-1111
