Profile: One of the best long-range shooters in the Commonwealth Coast Conference, Gary has improved in each of his three seasons with the Gulls. A solid rebounder and defender, he will be counted on for his senior leadership this season.
As a Junior: Averaged 22.5 minutes, 8.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Led team in 3-Pt FG Made with 46. Was third in CCC in 3-Pt FG Pct at 47.9%
As a Sophomore: Played in all 29 games, averaging 5.6 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Shot 39.7% from 3-point range.
As a Freshman: Played significant minutes as a reserve for the 2004-2005 CCC champions.
In High School: Played for Coach Tom Pardalis at Danbury High. Averaged 13.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game as a senior. All-FCIAC Western Division. All-FCIAC Honorable Mention. Academic High Honor Roll and National Honor Society.
Personal: Gary is the son of Kevin and Ginger Corbett. An excellent student, he is a the recipient of a President's Scholarship. A sport management major. Sophomore internship with Integrated Marketing Division of ABC Television, New York City. Senior internship with Hoop Mountain Basketball New England.
