When Chris Millette was hired on April 10, 2005, he became the fifth head coach in Endicott College men's basketball history, and one of the youngest head coaches in the country.
In his first season, Coach Millette led the Gulls to a 19-10 record, and a third straight CCC conference championship. The Gulls compiled a regular season conference record of 13-3, and swept through the CCC tournament with three straight victories, highlighted by a 65-56 defeat of rival Colby-Sawyer in the championship game. The team received an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and traveled to Cortland, New York to play Tufts University. Tufts ended the Gulls season with an 83-60 victory.
In the 2006-2007 season, Coach Millette guided Endicott to a 16-12 record, including a 12-4 mark in the CCC, and a second straight post season appearance. The Gulls reached the ECAC semi-finals, where they lost to eventual tournament champion Western New England College.
Before coming to Endicott, Coach Millette served as an assistant at three different universities. He spent two seasons each at Brandeis University (2003-2005), Tufts University (2001-2003) and the University of California, San Diego (1999-2001).
Coach Millette holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Boston College, and a master's degree in education from Tufts University. A native of Hampton, New Hampshire, he now resides in Boston.
