Profile: Kevin saw time as both a wing and post player last season. This year he will focus at the wing position. He has a nice scoring touch around the basket, and can also step outside and hit from the perimeter.

As a Freshman: Played in 9 games, averaging 2.8 minutes and 1.6 points per game. Made 10-12 free throws on the season.

In High School: Kevin averaged 17 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists per game in leading Blackstone-Millville High to a 21-3 record and the Dual Valley Conference Championship. Played for Coach Ethan Rowe. He was named to the Milford Daily News All Star team, Worcester Telegram & Gazette All Star team and the Dual Valley Conference All Star team. He achieved High Honors as a student, and was a recipient of a John and Abigail Adams academic scholarship.

Personal: Kevin is the son of Lisa and Ronald Powers, Jr. He is a sport management major. He is also an accomplished musician, and has performed at Symphony Hall in Boston.
