BRISTOL, RI - The Endicott College men's cross country team finished 10th at the Roger Williams Invitational at Colt State Park in Bristol, RI last Saturday.
Ryan Darmody (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth) was the first Gull to cross the line as he covered the five mile course in 32:16 good enough for 36 place overall. Sam Turner (Portland, ME/Deering) and Brendan Mitchell (Chelmsford, MA/Chelmsford) followed less than minute later finishing 45th and 46th in 33:13 and 33:15 respectively.
Michael Macisso (Portland, ME/Portland) just edged out teammate Ryan Thompson (Manchester, NH/Avon Old Farms) as he crossed the line fourth for the Gulls in 33:47, while Thompson logged a time of 33:49.
The Gulls 202 points put them in tenth place as a team, host Roger Williams University won team title with 51 points. Newbury College junior Herrel Siller Jr. won the individual title in 28:10.
The Blue and Green return to the trails on Saturday when they visit TCCC newcomer Western New England College in Springfield, MA with a start time of 11:15 am.
