McKenzie is a Psychology major. McKenzie demonstrated that she would be a force to be reckoned with in the paint for the next three years. During the second semester last season, she earned herself a starting position, averaging 7.4 ppg and 5.2 rpg. In the end of January, McKenzie earned CCC Rookie of the Week Honors. A three sport high school athlete, she captained her soccer, basketball, and softball teams her senior year. At second base, her softball team won two state championships. She was voted Most Athletic Female her senior year. She is the daughter of Joyce Borthwick and Andrew Ferguson.
