Breanne is a graduate of Providence College, a Big East Conference powerhouse. While at PC, Breanne was a four year starter making an immediate impact and earning a spot on the Big East All Rookie Team. She was also a two-time Big East First Team Member, Division I Second Team Regional All American, and captain her senior year. Her senior year she lead the Friars in total points, assists, and goals and the Friar team went on to the Big East Finals. Breanne was the Providence College Sine Quo Non Award Winner and a finalist for the Rhode Island Collegiate Female Athlete of the Year in 2001. She was also selected to compete in the Division I North/South senior all-star game.

Her coaching career started through USFHA's Futures program and various college summer camps. After her playing career at Providence, she stayed within the Big East Conference and served as the second assistant at Boston College.
